We've teamed up with the fabulous Kathryn and David at Centre Paws, on Barnards Farm, near Wymondham, to create a small and intimate camping experience. Stay in one of our fabulous bell tents on their working farm for a authentic, dog friendly countryside camping break.
Welcome to The Little Beach Bell Company @ Walnut Tree Meadow – a small, friendly farm based campsite surrounded by beautiful countryside and home to some of our beautiful bell tents.
With only three pitches and plenty of space to spread out, you will love the laid back atmosphere and intimate, back to nature setting – and if you like to travel with your four-legged friend, you will love it here! We are not only super dog friendly, but with all the canine facilities on site provided by our friends at Centre Paws – your dog will leave feeling as happy and relaxed as you do.
Walnut Tree Meadow is the perfect place to get together with family and friends; kids will love the sights and sounds of the farmyard and adults will love the peace and quiet as the sun goes down. The meadow is completely car free, with parking next to it, so it isn’t far to carry your bags.
The family farm in the heart of the south Norfolk countryside near Wymondham, is home to Centre Paws – which has its own dog friendly café - perfect for breakfast in the morning and cake in the afternoon, farm walks, a secure exercise field, grooming parlour and dog agility courses and training, so there is plenty to keep you and your doggy happy. We even offer a dog sitting service, so if you want to go out for dinner for the night in one of the many excellent nearby pubs, the team at Centre Paws will be on hand to help. Click here to find out more about the site and what is on offer.
Children will also love staying at Walnut Tree Meadow – watch the ducks splashing around on the pond, the chickens, the goats and the sheep in the fields, not to mention the cheeky alpacas. There is always something happening on the farm and plenty of open space to let off some steam.
So settle in to one of our bell tents for the night and enjoy a night under the stars in the most idyllic, authentic farm setting in the heart of Norfolk’s rolling rural landscape. Email us email@example.com to find out more.
We are very much a back to basics campsite, providing a really authentic camping experience. But don’t worry, we still have a toilet, a hot shower, washing up facilities and drinking water. Each bell tent also comes with its own barbecue – but please remember, absolutely NO cooking at all inside our bell tents. This is not to spoil your fun, but to keep you safe – it is to prevent the risk of fire and carbon monoxide poisoning. Please see our terms and conditions for more information.
You can also buy eggs, sausages and honey and other seasonal home made produce on the farm, as well as a few extras, such as charcoal briquettes and wood.
To see the camping essentials that all our tents come with, click here. Everyone will also receive one of our special farm welcome packs. If you would like any extras, from tables and chairs to traditional games for all the family, click here and check out our list of trimmings, and then simply add them to your booking.
Nestled in the heart of the south Norfolk countryside, just a mile from the edge of the historic market town of Wymondham with its famous abbey, excellent pubs, cafes and lovely walks, Walnut Tree Meadow offers easy access to both the city, Broads and coast.
A regular train service runs from Wymondham straight into the fabulous city of Norwich, the coast is only a 40 minute drive away and the Broads even closer. Thetford Forest, run by the Forestry Commission is nearby, offering excellent mountain biking, walking and tree top adventures and woodland play for the kids (and the big kids)
